Compliance and Calling Practices
How we prepare call lists and make calls for our clients.
How we prepare call lists
- Build the list. Prospect information comes from the client or from our own research.
- Find the numbers. We use skip tracing to find phone numbers, and we enrich each record with extra details.
- Match it to the campaign. We use AI-assisted review to narrow the records to the client's target customers, such as location, property type and service need.
- Screen before dialing. Before any call is made, every list is screened against the National Do Not Call Registry, applicable state do-not-call lists and our internal do-not-call list. The registry data we use is never more than 31 days old, and any list older than a month is screened again before it is reused. Numbers that match are removed.
- Check for known litigators. Lists are also checked against a database of known serial TCPA litigants, and matching numbers are removed.
- Hand it to the agents. Agents only call numbers that have passed every step.
How our agents make calls
- Calls are placed by human agents. We do not use prerecorded or AI-generated voices on outbound calls.
- Calls are made only between 8 AM and 9 PM in the recipient's local time, or within the stricter limits of that state.
- At the start of each call, agents give their name, the company they are calling for and the reason for the call.
- Agents call from a real number that people can call back.
Stop-calling requests
Agents accept every stop request right away, without trying to change the person’s mind. The number is tagged in our dialer and added to our internal do-not-call list permanently, so it is blocked across every campaign and every client, and we tell the client. You can also email momen@northbridgecontact.com with your number.
Recording and records
Calls may be recorded for quality assurance. Where the law requires it, agents tell the person that the call is being recorded. Recordings are kept for up to 30 days, and clients can listen to the calls made on their campaign. We keep records of our do-not-call compliance, including screening dates, list versions and stop-request logs, for at least 5 years.
Client data
Lists and data a client gives us are used only for that client’s campaign. We never use one client’s lists for another client, and we never sell them.
Training and review
Agents are trained on these rules before their first call, and our QA reviews calls for compliance as well as quality.
Shared responsibility
Our clients remain responsible for their own offers, claims, pricing and licensing. We ask clients to tell us about any state or industry rules that apply to their campaigns.
